Athletes Who Protested The National Anthem

On Sept 9th, Brandon Marshall of the Denver Broncos took a knee during the national anthem in the first game of the season. Marshall was a college teammate of Colin’s at the University of Nevada.

“I’m not against the military. I’m not against the police or America, I’m against social injustice.”

A credit union in Colorado and CenturyLink subsequently pulled their sponsorship deals with Marshall after his protest.
