Athletes Who Protested The National Anthem

On Oct 4th, during the first NBA preseason game of the year, the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks banded together from shoulder to shoulder during the anthem.

The Boston Celtics also stood together holding hands with their heads down. They drew inspiration from the 1960-61 Celtics teams who held hands in unity to protest racial tensions during their time.
