Well, well, well then. The first College Football Playoff ranking of the season came out on Tuesday night, and boy did it not disappoint in terms of giving us talking points. First of all here’s the top ten quickly: Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, Penn State, Clemson, Georgia, Oregon, Utah, Oklahoma, and Florida.
Now that that’s out of the way, the interesting part to most people is that Clemson is not in the top four. They are undefeated and are the reigning champions of the entire thing, so many feel it’s a shock to see them on the outside looking in after eight games played. Still yet, you just have to think that it will all resolve itself in the next few weeks. Another interesting tidbit to note is that two-loss Florida is ranked higher than Baylor (12th) and Minnesota (17th), neither of which have lost yet.
