How on earth can this be possible? The Los Angeles Clippers, behind star forwards Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, posted 150 points on Sunday in a dominant 150-125 win over the hapless Washington Wizards. And they did so without having practiced, fully, as a team together the entire 21-game season thus far, according to coach Doc Rivers at least.
It’s the second time they have scored 150+ points this season, which makes it three in franchise history. Leonard finished with 34 and George had 31, while ‘Sweet’ Lou Williams kept up his tremendous play by adding 22 of his own. This is a dangerous enough team as it is, but to think they could get even better is downright scary.
