Cowboys Turn To McCarthy As New Coach

Having allowed the contract of Jason Garrett to run out after letting him stay in charge for over a decade, the Dallas Cowboys have now tabbed a new coach to take charge of ‘America’s Team.’ That new man, according to sources at least, is going to be former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy.

It’s said that the deal will be for five years, and the chief goal will be taking the team to a Super Bowl victory, as he did for the Packers in 2011. To get their, though, will be a difficult road full of pitfalls all over, seeing as how it’s far from simple to do anything in Dallas with owner Jerry Jones around. McCarthy has been out of the coaching game since he was let go by the Packers in 2018 after just 12 games.
