The old saying goes something like injury being added to insult. That’s pretty much what happened on Wednesday night for the Golden State Warriors. They lost Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to injuries, the former leaving anyway, and now Steph Curry has been added to the list after he went down during their 121-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Trailing the game in a big fashion after a first quarter that saw the visiting Suns go up 43-14, Curry broke his left hand on a hard fall in the third quarter. At the moment, there is no timetable on his injury, since he has yet to get an MRI and go through the proper medical channels as of yet. For a reeling Warriors team, this just makes matters worse on them. As for the game itself, the leading scorer was Suns’ sophomore player Devin Booker, who put up 31. The Warriors got 20 from Eric Paschall in the defeat.
