Dirty Play By Zaza Pachulia Receives Backlash From Russell Westbrook

Zaza Pachulia has become known as one of the dirtiest players in the league and last nights contest between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors further reinforced that notion.

Late in the third quarter with the Warriors holding a healthy lead, a drive by Russell Westbrook to the hoop was followed by what appeared to be Pachulia purposely falling on him and going right after his knees.

Westbrook was clearly roughed up a little bit following the play, but he would go on to get up under his own power and finish the game.

After the game, Westbrook made it known what had happened and how he felt about it.

This is not the first time Pachulia and Westbrook have had a run in. Last year, Pachulia stared down westbrook following a hard foul.

Even in the playoffs last year, Pachulia was accused of purposely taking out Kawhi Leonard which resulted in him not being able to play for the remainder of the playoffs.

Basketball is a physical game, especially if you’re a big man like Pachulia is. However, there have been so many instances where he is blatantly trying to injure opposing players and it’s unacceptable. The NBA must step in and put an end to this.
