The weekend of the Masters Tournament looks like it could be one of the most unforgettable ones in the history of Augusta National. A reigning British Open champion, a former PGA champion with a sore back, a man that has won three majors in the last two years, a Masters champion from some six years ago, and a man that has finished runner-up at all four majors are all tied for the lead. That’s, in order, Francesco Molinari, Jason Day, Brooks Koepka, Adam Scott, and Louis Oosthuizen. If that wasn’t star studded enough for you, Tiger Woods is just one shot back at -6.
And so, too, is Dustin Johnson, a man that can hit the ball further than you can see. In total, 15 players are within three shots of the lead heading into the weekend, including Phil Mickelson, who faded a little to finish -4 through two rounds on Friday. Still yet, it’s shaping up to big an epic weekend, even more so if Tiger can remain on the prowl and stay right in the thick of it. It’s anyone’s guess now about who will win, and that’s the way we love it.
