Jaylen Brown Leaves Game Following Scary Fall

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown suffered what appeared to be a severe injury following a dunk Thursday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The momentum of Brown’s speed in going up for the dunk caused him to lose control of his body going down, resulting in him landing on his side in a very awkward position.

What made the fall seem to be even worse was the dazed look that he had when he was laying on the ground.

While this looked like it could be a potential season-ending injury, Brown tweeted after the game that he is going to be okay.

Brown is an essential part of this very talented Celtics team that currently has the second best record in the Eastern Conference.

As a rookie, Brown lived up to all the hype surrounding him and is currently averaging 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in his second season in the NBA.

There is not timetable set for Brown’s return. However, there is no doubt that the Celtics will need more help off the bench from players like Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart in order to compensate for Brown’s absence.
