Kansas University Jayhawks Stun Top Ranked Duke With Last Second Win

The #7 ranked Kansas Jayhawks went up against the #1 ranked Duke Blue Devils last night in New York City.

The two squared off against one another in the State Farm Champions Classic that took place in Madison Square Garden.

Kansas, who are now 1-1 after their win, had a pretty substantial lead with 8 minutes left in the 2nd half. They were up by 12. But Duke pulled it together and knotted the game up at 75-75 with just 15 seconds left in the game.

Frank Mason III ended up making the game-winning shot with 1.8 seconds left on the clock, giving the Jayhawks a 77-75 lead. Duke was unable to hit a full court shot, giving Kansas the victory.

The Blue Devils moved to 2-1 on the young season. They will play Penn State next on Saturday while the Jayhawks play Siena on Friday.
