Yao played only 9 years in the NBA before injuries forced him to retire. But he was a dominant force when healthy. Standing at a massive 7’6 and weighing 311 lbs, he dominated the paint every time he stepped on the floor.

He had an average wingspan of 7’5 but his hand spread, the measurement from the tip of the pinky to the tip of the thumb, was 10 inches, which is well above the average in the NBA.
