LeBron’s Monster Game Leads Lakers Past Mavericks

Jonathan Grant | January 11th, 2020

It’s quite rare, and somewhat, unbelievable that we could be saying this. But LeBron James just had another first last night as he helped lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 129-114 win over the Dallas Mavericks on the road.

James put up 35+ points while grabbing 15+ rebounds for the very first time in his career, which is downright amazing considering how long he has been in the league and how dominant he has been in that time, too. With Kyle Kuzma stepping up to provide the most points he has scored this season at 24, they didn’t even miss Anthony Davis that much. Luka Doncic, of course, had a nice outing, scoring 25 points and collecting ten rebounds as he fell three assists shy of another triple-double. He was not the happiest with the result, however, as he ripped his jersey in frustration. We’ll see where this leads, but for now there is no reason to think things are turning sour in Dallas for them and their star man(child).
