LSU Fans Unhappy

Jonathan Grant | March 10th, 2019

Another team that clinched their conference title on Saturday was the LSU Tigers. The SEC regular season champions, ranked tenth in the nation, have overcome powerhouse Kentucky and consistently top-ten Tennessee to it, all in spite of the fiasco surrounding head coach Will Wade all season. And Athletic Director Joe Alleva got to hear all about it as the Baton Rouge faithful targeted him for his call to suspend the coach as well as player Javonte Smart. This all happened during their comfy 80-59 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores, who didn’t win a single conference game mind you. They were incredible scenes, leading many to wonder just what’s going on. The sort of behavior he showed is unacceptable, sure, but on the other hand many know it’s happening all around the country. Doesn’t make it right, but it does make you wonder why he has to be the scapegoat.
