The United States Men’s National Team is still a long, long way from where it wants to be, and that was proven once more on Friday night as Mexico dealt them a 0-3 loss in New Jersey. Christian Pulisic, considered to be the best player on the team, stated that they will have to start being less scared if they are to beat the mighty El Tri.
That would be a nice start, you’d think. The first goal came from Chicharito Hernandez. The second would wait for quite a while, coming in the second half with 12 minutes left when the US made comical work of passing out of the bag to gift Erick Gutierrez with a goal. Uriel Antuna topped it off just four minutes later in the 82nd minute to kill off the game and show just how wide the gap remains between the two teams.
