It’s becoming a very familiar theme for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Another day, another win. Another series win, too, this time over the San Diego Padres after Max Muncy came through in the clutch (yet again) to hand them an 11-10 walk off victory. It was Muncy who had gotten proceedings off to a fine start to begin with, hitting a home run to make it 1-0 in the second inning.

Two more runs were added in the same frame, but the visiting Padres battled back and would take the lead. It ended up getting switched back and forth a few times before it came to the stretch run in the late innings. With a 10-7 hole to climb out of, the Dodgers plated two runs in the eighth, one of which was scored by Muncy, to get it to 10-9. In the bottom of the ninth, Muncy delivered again, blasting a deep double to drive in two runs and win the game for the all-conquering AL West leaders.
