In a bid to make things better, easier, and less complicated, the NCAA has decided to change some of their rules regarding agents in the sport of basketball. And it’s not exactly without its share of controversy.

Some of the requirements include an agent to have a bachelor’s degree, to have NBPA certification for three or more years, and to take a test at NCAA headquarters. Rules, however, regarding when an agent can be brought in have not changed. Players will still only be allowed to make deals with players when said player’s season has ended. Thanks to common sense measures, players can now return to school after hiring an agent, though there is a complicated process there as well.
