The Brooklyn Nets got perhaps their biggest victory of the season on Saturday when they won the only other NBA game of the day against Milwaukee by a score of 133-128. The Bucks had already wrapped up first place in the East, and you could tell the Nets needed it more than them. They aided their own hopes by running out to a quick lead and a strong third quarter to pull away and win.
D’Angelo Russell, a player that Lakers will be kicking themselves over, had 25 points, along with ten rebounds, to help them get what could be a priceless win as they try to make the postseason. The bad news for them is that they are likely to face the Bucks, who are surely going to be a little ‘meaner’ when it comes to playoff games.
