Whether you have Ohio State at #1 or #2 right now, you have to be impressed by what they did on Saturday. Facing the Michigan Wolverines on the road, a team that have looked a little better this season than in years past, the Buckeyes bulldozed them to the tune of a 56-27 win.
Running back JB Dobbins and quarterback Justin Fields absolutely starred, racking up four touchdowns apiece and combining for over 500 yards of total offense. It was their eighth straight win over Michigan now, and it has to have made a case for them be #1 in the rankings. Across the country, another big game was being played out as Oklahoma State hosted the Oklahoma Sooners. When the dust settled, though, it was the visiting Sooners that came out on top with a 34-16 win that kept their own CFP hopes alive. Kennedy Brooks was the star on the evening for the #7 team, rushing for 160 yards and a TD, as Jaylen Hurts was more subdued than usual.
