Raptors Outlast Bucks in 2OT

It was a circuitous route, but in the end it didn’t matter for the Toronto Raptors as they outlasted the Milwaukee Bucks to reduce their deficit in the Eastern Conference Finals from 2-0 to 2-1 with a 118-110 win double overtime. Having paced the game for the vast majority of the second half, the Raptors would have expected to pull away.

But they just never could, with the Bucks ebbing amd flowing to keep it close on a night where Giannis was not his usual self. Kawhi Leonard was, slamming home two crucial dunks in the second OT period, on the way to 36 points. Pascal Siakam also had a fine night, despite having missed free throws when the win was within their grasp, by contributing with 25 points of his own. The series is now very much alive and the Canadians can level it up in a couple of days’ time.
