You just knew that someone would do it. Someone would took the gamble as soon as the New England Patriots let wide receiver Josh Gordon go. They did so a few days ago, and the Seattle Seahawks were the team that decided to pounce, claiming the troubled but talented star off waivers.
Gordon, who has not played since October 10th for the Pats, will not play this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, he could be ready for the big match up with division rival San Francisco the following week. Head coach Pete Carroll did not make any promises, though, vowing that he’d basically have to prove he deserved to play. Let’s hope this move works out for Gordon, who can be one of the league’s top talents when healthy.
