Social Media Goes Off About Fergies National Anthem Performance Prior To NBA All-Star Game

Every once in a while, there is an artist that comes out with their own very unique and different rendition of the national anthem, the most recent being Fergie prior to the 2018 NBA All-Star game.

With a song that has such tradition and precedent, mixing it up a little bit usually does not go over well; this same principle held true with Fergie as her performance was met with a lot of criticism and, of course, social media backlash.

While the remix was not a fan favorite, the vocals were subpar as many people said on social media.

Regardless, it takes a lot to actually get up in front of a whole arena of people, on top of the hundreds of thousands who are viewing at home and sing the national anthem to perfection.
