Super Bowl LII Preview

This year’s Super Bowl a tale of two very different teams.

The Patriots have tradition along with, arguably, one of the greatest quarterback/head coach combinations of all time in Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. They have one five Super Bowls in their tenure, the latter coming last year in an amazing 25 point comeback over the Atlanta Falcons.

On the other hand, the Eagles are what appears to be a team of destiny, as they have put together one of the most successful seasons in franchise history despite losing their starting quarterback in Carson Wentz.

Nick Foles has been the favorite name in Philadelphia, as he has stepped in and exceeded any expectations placed on him with the absence of Wentz.

The Patriots currently are favored by 5.5 points by Vegas. They have everything going for them. While Brady sustained a hand injury through running into a teammate in practice before the AFC championship and Rob Gronkowski was questionable due to the concussion protocol, all of that has been resolved and both are prepared to play as normal.

With this being said, the Eagles are still a very talented team riding on momentum. While the Patriots had a very close call when they played against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC championship, the Eagles absolutely blew out a very talented Minnesota Vikings team by a score of 38-7.

However, it is so hard to bet against the New England Patriots because of their veteran experience and track record in the Super Bowl. With Brady, the Patriots have been five and seven in the Super Bowl with their only losses coming against the New York Giants.

While everyone loves an underdog, the Patriots should take home this game and add yet another Super Bowl to their franchise.

One thing is for sure: This game will be very entertaining.
