11. Jerry West
Jerry West is a retired point guard who played his entire career as a Los Angeles Laker from 1960 to 1974. During his career as a player, he won an NBA championship in 1972, a 14-time NBA All-Star, and currently holds the record for the highest point per game average in a playoff series. More impressively, he won the NBA Finals MVP award in for the 1969 Finals in which the Boston Celtics won, becoming the only player in history to win the Finals MVP award on the losing team.
In 1979, West was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame and in 1983, his #44 was retired by the Lakers. After his playing career, West continued working with the Los Angeles Lakers as a coach and executive, and is now an executive board member of the Los Angeles Clippers. The NBA logo is modeled after him.
