Top 20 Point Guards In NBA History Ranked

10. Steve Nash

Steve Nash is a former point guard, having played for the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Nash is a recognized 8-time NBA All-Star, and led the NBA in assists five times. He has also made the elusive 50-40-90 club a staggering 4 times. It requires a player to shoot at least 50% from the field, 40% behind the 3-point line and over 90% from the free throw line. There has only been 7 players to ever achieve it and the only other player to do it twice was Larry Bird. Nash did it FOUR times.

Outside of the NBA, Nash has been recognized for his altruism, involving himself for several philanthropic causes such as forming the Steve Nash Foundation that provides beneficial services to children affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, and illnesses. Other charities include the Jim Jennings Memorial Endowment Fund and GuluWalk, which raise awareness and funds for war-torn children of Northern Uganda.
