The New York Yankees are the best unluckiest team in baseball this season, possibly ever. And the hits just keep on coming. Yet another player appears to be injured, with Gleyber Torres once again being forced to exit the game early with abdominal pain.
That came in their 9-4 win over the hapless and helpless Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night. Torres was sent back to the Big Apple to undergo tests, and manager Aaron Boone hopes to have an update on his condition soon. Torres, so far, has been the only regular starter to not pick up a stint on the injury list this season, so their fingers will be crossed he will be day-to-day only.
