Trout Homers Twice

Mike Trout just signed that eye watering lucrative contract a couple of weeks ago, and he’s already showing why it will be paid back in no time. The LA Angels slugger blasted two home runs on Friday night to aid them to a 3-1 win over the Texas Rangers.

Both of the homers were solo shots, giving his team a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning and then giving them a bit of insurance with the second one coming in the eighth. It was just their second win of the season and the victory saw them snap a five-game losing skid. The game also included a ridiculous catch by Angels’ right fielder Brian Goodwin that really needs to be seen.
