The USC Trojans got a massive 30-23 win over no.10 Utah on Friday night, but it did not come without a cost. The school lost its second quarterback of the young season as Kedon Slovis took a hard hit to the head on just the second play from scrimmage.
As a result, he had to leave and was replaced by third-stringer Matt Fink. The junior did not disappoint, however, throwing for 351 yards and three TD’s as he helped lead them past he Utes at home. It was an ugly scene for Slovis, who had tried to get up only to fall back down to the turf. Here’s to hoping he bounces back soon.
