The Golden State Warriors found themselves down 15 points at halftime on Thursday night, but still, even without Kevin Durant, they figured out a way to get the win and go up 2-0 over the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Finals.
Steph Curry had 37 points to lead all scorers as his team outscored Portland by 15 in the third quarter to pull it back. The fourth was tighter, but in the end it would be a 114-111 win for them. Damien Lillard chipped in with 23 points of his own for the Blazers in defeat, but it was not enough. The other big news to come out of the day that the aforementioned Durant will not be ready for Games 3 or 4, meaning the Warriors could have it wrapped up before he is ready to play again.
