The Australian Open continues to go on, and the tournament has now reached the semi-final stage. In the women’s bracket, familiar foes will be clashing in one of the semis as Serena Williams will face Naomi Osaka. Williams downed Simona Halep 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday to set up a fourth meeting with the Japanese star.

In the men’s portion of the bracket, a true upset was accomplished as #114 ranked Aslan Karatsev clinched a place in the semis. The Russian, who had to qualify just to make his way into the bracket, defeated #18 Grigor Dimitrov 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday to stake out a claim for the unlikely spot. His reward for the win? A likely matchup with the downright dominant eight-time Aussie champ Novak Djokovic.
