Nothing just ever seems to go well for the New York Jets. For fans of the franchise, that has to be extremely frustrating, no doubt, but they will not have been shocked to see that the tenure of Le’Veon Bell didn’t exactly go well in the Big Apple. His time was ended there earlier this week, with the team cutting him after seemingly exhausting all attempts to trade him elsewhere.
He’s landed quickly, though, with the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs snapping up the running back. Sources indicate the deal is for one year, with the team looking to improve upon what has been a middle-of-the-road running game. He will not be eligible to play this Monday against the Buffalo Bills as he goes through Covid-19 protocols.
