The Brooklyn Nets were already supposed to be a good team. But they’ve now been reborn into a monster with the arrival of James Harden. He, along with Kevin Durant, for the second game in a row showed why they are a big NBA Finals contender as they took down Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks in a close one by a 125-123 score line.
Harden led the way with 34 points, matched by Giannis, and Durant, who had 30 of his own, nailed a three-pointer that was the ‘dagger’ that basically sealed it up for the Nets. The fact that they got double digits from all their starters, including 20 from Joe Harris, also helped matters tremendously. Harden, who had made his debut for the Nets with a 30-point triple-double, once again offered up his passing skills here as well, dishing out 12 assists in the victory that pushed the Nets to 9-6 and saw the Bucks fall to 9-5.
