Luka Doncic was none too happy with how his Dallas Mavericks lost against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. Following a typically fine performance from him which included a near triple-double (28 points, 13 assists, and nine rebounds), he said that he was not too pleased with the lack of a timeout being taken deep in the game that eventually led to the 112-109 defeat. He also won’t be too thrilled that reigning two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 31 points to his name, only made one free throw out of ten on the evening.

Yet the Mavericks still figured out a way to lose, and that’s sure to leave a few people, Mark Cuban included, scratching their heads a bit. Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Clippers saw Paul George and Kawhi Leonard return to form in a 138-100 blowout win over the Sacramento Kings. Leonard played just three quarters and had 27 points before being yanked while George had 26 of his own. The Clippers moved to 9-4 overall with the win, their third straight and fourth from their last five. All despite being shorthanded on the night as well. Not too bad at all, you have to say.
