It was a fairly quiet day of action in the NBA on Saturday with three games on the docket, but the two teams that contested last year’s Finals each played and picked up victories. The Milwaukee Bucks, the reigning champs who played without Giannis, got a 133-127 home win over the Sacramento Kings as Khris Middleton dazzled with a couple of magnificent plays as part of a 34-point showcase. Elsewhere, the Phoenix Suns also obtained their sixth consecutive ‘W’ on Saturday, defeating the Indiana Pacers 113-103 at home.

And they did it despite Devin Booker struggling from the floor to the tune of just 5-23, underlining how good and varied their offensive attack is. Mikal Bridges had 23 to lead the way for them while Bismarck Biyombo came off the bench to supply 21 of his own. Chris Paul also went a long way toward making up for Booker’s poor day at the office, scoring 18 points while dishing out a ridiculous 16 assists.
