Bucs Cruise Past Giants On MNF

Jonathan Grant | November 23rd, 2021

There are levels to these things. Or so the old (rather, new) saying goes. And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Giants just are not on the same one. That was made apparent on Monday Night Football as the Bucs cruised past their visitors to win 30-10 and move themselves to 7-3 on the season. Tom Brady was his usual solid self, though he did throw an interception, throwing for just over 300 yards and two touchdowns.

Tampa Bay Buccaneeres

The first one came less than four minutes into the game as he found Chris Godwin from 13 yards out. And that set the tone. They would lead virtually all evening. Mike Evans was his most efficient receiver, making six catches for 73 yards and a TD. Opposite number Daniel Jones, however, struggled under center for the Giants. He threw for 167 yards and a TD, but he was picked off twice, once in the third quarter on a particularly awful throw. The Giants fell to 3-7 with the defeat, putting them bottom of the standings in the NFC East currently. Tampa, meanwhile, is two games clear of New Orleans in the NFC South race and is one of five teams still in the mix for the NFC’s top seed.
