It’s not all that big of a deal, right now, to overcome the Miami Heat in a game. Nonetheless, that’s what the Los Angeles Clippers did on Monday night to take their winning streak up to four games via a 125-118 victory. That victory was keyed by Marcus Morris season-high 32 points that led all scorers. The big man, more known for his tough, tenacious defense, was able to make six three-pointers as well, all the while missing just four of 15 shots from the floor.
Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro had combined to score 84 points for the Heat, but five of the nine Clippers players that suited up had 15+, giving them the edge when the buzzer went off for the final time. Neither Kawhi Leonard nor Paul George played for the Clippers, indicating an even bigger issue with the current Heat roster, which fell to 11-16 in the defeat. The Clippers, on the other hand, went to 21-8 with another ‘W.’
