Much has been said about the current run that the Los Angeles Lakers are on. That’s allowed their city rivals, the Clippers, to slide in relatively unnoticed. That, however, shouldn’t be the case as their 108-100 win on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder was their seventh in a row and moved them to 13-4 overall, the exact same record as the Lakers at this stage.

Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 34 points, and that included a big slam dunk that just so happened to seal the game in his team’s favor. This is a team that’s always been capable and had huge potential, and they might just be finally showing it in abundance. Of course, this will be all for nothing if they don’t do well come playoff time…
