College Football Players Given OK For (Limited) Return

College football is one step closer to being a reality, at least in some parts of the country, after the NCAA ruled that college football players can return to campus for ‘voluntary’ workouts beginning on June 1st.

This does not mean, in theory, that they are supposed to be there along with coaches, but we all know that there is surely going to be some way that teams work to get around that issue. It’s also stressed that only those that want to be involved have to be, so there should not be any pressure. We’ll see how that works out. As far as individual conferences go, it looks like each will make and enforce their own return dates, so that may help make it a bit more fair in the long run.
