The Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott have been dancing over a new contract for the quarterback for quite some time now. And if sources are to be believed, the two are paired up again now, working to come up with a solution. This marks the first such talks since the team used its franchise tag on him.
Believe it or not, the two sides are not all that far apart, if rumors are to be believed, as it appears that the length of the contract is what is being argued over. Dak and his crew want four years, while the team would like to keep him under wraps for five. Might a solution end up being an option for the player? At any rate, the two sides have until July 15th to find a deal. If none is reached by then, Dak will remain on the tag for the season and force this entire thing to repeat next year.
