It was far from a good day for the Memphis Grizzlies in San Francisco. If losing 142-112 to the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 wasn’t enough, they also now have concerns about their main man Ja Morant. His knee appears to be injured and he limped off the court with five minutes still on the clock, causing worries and doubts that he may not play a further role in the series. Or perhaps he will not be at his best. Either way, the Grizzlies will rue this day as Steph Curry and co. put them to the sword.

Morant led all scorers with 34, but Curry had 30, drilling all 14 free throws he earned, while Jordan Poole recorded 27 and four others racked up at least 13 in strong team performance. That puts the Warriors up 2-1 in the series, and that has to bode well for them moving forward. The same can be said of the Milwaukee Bucks as they took a 2-1 edge over the Boston Celtics via a 103-101 victory on Saturday afternoon. The defending champions had to withstand a mad scramble in the closing seconds, but they somehow managed to fend off the visitors and prevent overtime behind Giannis’ showing. The Greek Freak had 42 points and 12 rebounds, and he came up with just two assists shy of a triple-double as the Bucks took control for the second time in the series.
