Like the rest of the sports world, and well, the world in general, the NFL is trying to do the best it can to protect its players and coaches from the spread of Covid-19. Plus, they don’t want to run afoul of the health/government authorities, either. Perhaps this has led to what Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh’s unhappiness currently.
He said that he’s a “little frustrated” and that he thinks “they need to get that pinned down a little better.” Apparently, he’s not happy that the players are expected to remain distanced while lifting weights or eating, for example, leading him to point out that it will be next to impossible to accomplish everything they need to within a 13-hour daily window if the procedures are followed to a ‘T.’ There are definitely a lot of reasons to be careful, no doubt, but you can also see his side of this. It does come to a point where practical means make it a little ridiculous, but that is the world in which we live. He also stated that he hoped “more realistic and practical” guidelines were agreed upon in the next couple of months.
