A rather recent story that came out in the past few days surrounded, of all teams, the Memphis Grizzlies. Written off before a ball was ever thrown into the air, they have somehow managed to be right around .500 in the Western Conference and in contention for a playoff spot. However, they had been doing all of that without the services of Andre Iguodala, whom they had acquired in a trade over the summer.
Apparently, either he or the team, or perhaps both, were not interested in him playing. Dillon Brooks claims he didn’t want to play for them a couple of days ago and wished he’d be traded. He got his wish, reportedly, now as the former Finals MVP is apparently being shipped to Miami. The Heat will be sending Justice Winslow back, if reports are to be believed. That means the Rockets, rumored to have interest, would have lost out on Iguodala.
