The Indianapolis Colts hadn’t gotten off to their finest-ever start in the 2021 season ahead of Monday Night Football. 1-3 coming in, they looked like they were going to improve to 2-3 having taken a 22-3 with just 18 minutes of action remaining. However, the Baltimore Ravens have a man under center named Lamar Jackson, and he was the one that led them back to an unlikely and thrilling win that won’t be soon forgotten.
Jackson threw three touchdowns in the last 16 minutes of ‘regulation’ time and racked up over 500 yards of all-purpose offense in helping his team obtain a 25-31 win. Jackson found Marquise Brown, who had two TD catches, for the game-winner in overtime with 5:24 left on the clock. Jackson had twice found Mark Andrews in the fourth quarter for touchdowns, and he also threw to him to get two crucial two-point conversions that forced the extra period. The Ravens are now 4-1 with the win and will no doubt carry a lot of momentum moving forward due to the nature of this win.
