Mike Minor, one of the best left-handed options available on the market this offseason in Major League Baseball, has officially found a new home. That new home is the Kansas City Royals, of which he has, reportedly, signed a two-year deal with. Minor turns 33 on the day after Christmas, and he has come through a roller coaster MLB career.

He’s been solid if not spectacular throughout it, making one All-Star team but coming up with a middling 71-66 record and an ERA of 3.98. It’s not great, but it is something. He had a rough 2020, going 1-6 with an ERA over 5, so there is much work to be done if he’s to return to his glory as an All-Star once more.
