MNF: Bills Demolish Titans, Eagles East Past Vikings

Jonathan Grant | September 20th, 2022

Monday Night Football this week was a special treat for us, with two games taking place instead of the usual one. First up, the Buffalo Bills showed what it looks like when a quarterback and wide receiver are in sync as Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs dominated the Tennessee Titans in a statement win by a score of 41-7. Allen and Diggs connected 12 times for 148 yards and three touchdowns in the one-sided rout, with Allen finishing up 26-38 for 317 total through the air and four TD’s.

The defensive effort of the Bills, who have won back-to-back games in convincing fashion to open the season, was also superb, as they forced four turnovers and held Tennessee to 13 yards shy of 200 for the entire game. In the ‘late’ game, the Philadelphia Eagles eased their way past the Minnesota Vikings, winning 24-7 behind the fine play of Jalen Hurts under center. Hurts had well over 300 yards of total offense, 333 of which came in the air, and he threw for a touchdown while going 26-31 on an efficient night. On the other side of the ball, Kirk Cousins was picked off three times by the Philly defense, helping them improve to 2-0 on the season as they followed up a 38-35 victory over Detroit in week 1.
