The Milwaukee Bucks were always going to be the top seed in the Eastern Conference. It just took a while for them to be able to confirm that status. They did so, however, on Thursday, as they defeated the Miami Heat 130-116 in a crazy affair.
The score makes it look easier than it was, as they went behind by 20 in the early stages. They didn’t worry too much, though, as both Giannis and Khris Middleton led the comeback by dropping 33 points apiece on the Heat. In other action in the ‘bubble,’ the Portland Trail Blazers cruised to a 125-115 win over the Denver Nuggets thanks to Damian Lillard’s 45 points. He made 11 three-pointers, tying his career high in doing so.
