If sources are to be believed, namely Spencer Dinwiddie, the NBA could be close to at least nailing down a date for the resumption of the 2019/20 season. It might not be as ‘right around the corner’ as some would like to see, but July 15th is the date that the Brooklyn Nets man is proclaiming.
The rest of the conjecture is that the teams would return to have training camps on June 21st, giving them nearly a month to ramp up for competition on the court. It was also said by Dinwiddie, of course, that the games would be held at a ‘bubble’ site. It has recently come to light that Orlando is the big favorite over Las Vegas, so look for that to come to fruition in the next few days or weeks.
