Not many people will have the Nevada Wolf Pack on their radar screens, but perhaps they should change their minds a little bit. They remained unbeaten on the new season on Thursday night, pushing their record to 3-0 thus far, thanks to a 34-9 win over the Utah State Aggies.
Having allowed all nine points in the opening ten minutes, and allowing themselves to fall behind 9-0, the Wolf Pack buckled down and crushed the Aggies in the remaining 50 minutes. QB Carson Strong threw three touchdown passes on 36 of 52 and racked up 411 yards. Romeo Doubs was the recipient of all three as he made seven total grabs for 137 yards. Nevada are one of four teams currently undefeated in the Mountain West, though they are the first to get to 3-0. Utah State, meanwhile, dropped to 0-3 with the loss.
