NFL Looking Into Protective Facemasks

Such are these times that headlines that look and sound like an April Fool’s joke are actually real. Like the latest surreal one that states that the NFL is looking into the possibility of modifying their helmet to include N95 protective material to help protect players from potentially getting and passing on Covid-19.

It’s being said that Oakley and the league are working on it currently, and that they have been doing so for a couple of months. Whether or not they can come up with something that works is very much in the air at this point, but it just does go to show how much leagues are going to have to adjust and be willing to change policies to make them more acceptable to be able to play once again. Oakley have made non-fogging glasses for the military before, by the way, so it’s doable for them to come up with something that will not do that here, a crucial fact that all wearers of glasses will be asking.
