NFL Week 6: Eagles Soar To 6-0, Allen Outduels Mahomes, Giants Beat Ravens To Move To 5-1

The Philadelphia Eagles are soaring to heights no one else in the NFL can seem to match in 2022. Through six games, they are the only team unbeaten, improving to 6-0 on Sunday after a 26-17 victory in prime time over the Dallas Cowboys signaled their intentions to the rest of the league and fans around the country. This time around, the offense was fairly quiet, meaning they had to rely upon their defense. But they came through, forcing three turnovers, all interceptions of Cooper Rush, on the evening to make sure they laid down a marker in the NFC East.

Jalen Hurts had two touchdowns and 155 yards as he went 15-25 while Rush completed just 18 of his 38 pass attempts. Despite moving to 6-0, however, the Eagles are only a game up on the New York Giants after they defeated the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday by a score of 24-20. The Ravens led by 10 early in the fourth before Daniel Jones led a 12-play, 75-yard drive to get them close with six minutes to go. The Giants then got a 1-yard run from Saquon Barkley after picking off Lamar Jackson to give them their first lead of the day. Elsewhere, Josh Allen outdueled Patrick Mahomes as the Buffalo Bills picked up an impressive road win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen hurdled a defender on a run, again, on the final drive that helped them score a TD and take the win to move to 5-1 on the year before his defense intercepted Mahomes with less than a minute to go to preserve a 24-20 win and make huge headway toward claiming home-field advantage.
