What an evening Kevin Porter, Jr. just had on Thursday night. The Houston Rockets’ young star, just 20 years of age, came into the game against the Milwaukee Bucks, one of the league’s best teams, having averaged around 15 points a game. His average went through the roof after the 143-136 victory, however, and it was due to the fact that he dropped 50 on one of the biggest contenders.
That made him just the fourth-youngest player to reach 50 in a single game, joining the likes of LeBron in the process. Khris Middleton led the way for the Bucks with 33 in the defeat, but the most crucial part of the loss was that Giannis went down before the first minute had been completed having appeared to have rolled his ankle. If they have lost the Greek Freak for a while, it will be very tough for them to have much of a chance come the postseason.
